AGUILAR
has rejoined HNTB Corp.'s roadway department in Miami as a project manager. In this role, Aguilar is responsible for managing projects for the Florida Dept. of Transportation, the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Miami-Dade County and other entities. He has 16 years of transportation infrastructure experience.

Additionally, HNTB has hired Fred Ochoa as a statewide structures leader and Martin Marquez as a transportation director. Both are based in the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office.

Joe Cerri has rejoined Plaza Construction, Miami, as a general superintendent. Cerri has 30 years of construction experience.

Charles Bellman has joined ICA Engineering's Columbia, S.C., office as the South Carolina regional manager. Bellman will manage ICA's Columbia and Greenville, S.C., offices. He has 25 years of transportation engineering and program management experience. He most recently served as an associate vice president with Atkins North America.

Craig Handley Jr. has been named a design associate with Witkin Hults Design Group, a landscape architecture firm based in Hollywood, Fla.

Phillip Vanciel has joined the Orlando office of Professional Service Industries Inc. (PSI) as a staff engineer. Vanciel earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Randall Redding has been elected as the 2014-2015 chapter president of the Associated General Contractors of Georgia. Redding is the president of R.K. Redding Construction, located in Bremen, Ga.

Other officers joining AGC Georgia's board of directors include: Trey Anderson of Anderson Construction Co., Fort Gaines, Ga., who was elected vice president; Randy Hall of Batson-Cook Co., Atlanta, who was named treasurer; and Scott Clark of R.W. Allen LLC, Augusta, Ga., who was appointed secretary.

Bikram Wadhawan has joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.'s Jacksonville, Fla., office as a senior transportation engineer. In this position, Wadhawan will lead the firm's efforts to develop a traffic engineering and transportation planning group in the Jacksonville area and throughout Florida. Formerly a public transportation specialist with the Florida Dept. of Transportation, Wadhawan has more than 14 years of traffic engineering and transportation planning experience.

Jessie Ladson and Jason "Jay" Henry Wahl have joined commercial construction firm Andrew General Contractors, Orlando, as project managers. Ladson, who has five years of construction experience, previously served as project engineer and field engineer for Turner Construction. Wahl, with 14 years of industry experience, recently served as vice president at two Atlanta-based firms, MJG Construction Services and Gilbert & Wahl Construction Services.

Angelo Vecchio has relocated to Syska's Charlotte office to serve as the firm's information and communication technology practice area leader.

Matt Jerrells has joined Bonita Springs, Fla.-based general contractor GATES as a project manager. Jerrells has 20 years of construction experience.

GATES also announced the hiring of Robert Whitehead and Robert Fike as superintendents. Whitehead has 38 years of construction experience and Fike, 36 years.

The company also hired 30-year industry veteran Walter Edge as senior estimator. Bridget Trombley has rejoined GATES as director of business development.

Frank Rygiel was named vice president of business development in Batson-Cook's Tampa office, where he will be responsible for maintaining relationships throughout the state. Rygiel most recently served as a senior project manager for Batson-Cook.

Leslie Samel has joined engineering firm Hatch Mott MacDonald as a senior project manager and office leader in Jacksonville, Fla. Samel, with 14 years of industry experience, previously was a senior project manager for a large engineering firm focused on water and wastewater projects.
