REYHAN
John Reyhan has joined Manhattan Construction Co.'s Atlanta office as president. Reyhan, with 27 years of construction industry experience, previously served as general manager of Georgia operations for Skanska USA, where he had worked since 1998.

Jeremy Sochol has joined architectural-engineering firm RS&H in Jacksonville, Fla., as senior vice president of human resources. Sochol has more than 20 years of related experience.

Becca Hardin has joined Batson-Cook Co., West Point, Ga., as vice president of business development. In this position, Hardin will focus her efforts on the industrial and manufacturing project sectors. She previously worked as executive vice president of economic development for the Greater Columbus, Ga., Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Partnership Joint Development Authority.

 

WILSON
Tim Wilson has joined the Raleigh office of Balfour Beatty Construction as director for strategic business acquisition for the company's Carolinas operations. In this position, Wilson will be responsible for client relationships related to project opportunities in the Triangle and Triad regions.

 

CLARKSON
Joanna Clarkson was promoted to vice president of finance for Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based construction manager Moss & Associates. She had previously served as the firm's controller.

David Dewar has been named senior project executive for Gilbane Building Co. Dewar has more than 26 years of construction management experience, with an emphasis on data centers, research-and-development facilities and health care. He will be based in Gilbane's Columbia, S.C., office.

Also, current Gilbane employee Mike Bowers has relocated to the contractor's Athens, Ga., office as project manager. Bowers had worked in the company's Mid-Atlantic region since 2002.

 

GLOVER
R.M. "Monty" Glover was named chief operating officer for contractor The Roberts Co. in Winterville, N.C. Glover has 30 years of industry experience, including the past 13 with The Shaw Group, where he served as president of the company's construction division.

Matthew Olender was promoted to the position of vice president in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office of Thornton Tomasetti. Olender began his engineering career with the firm in 2001. He specializes in forensic investigations, emergency response and condition assessments.

 

CARDELLO
Rachel Cardello was promoted to principal at ADD Inc., a Miami-based architectural and design firm. Cardello, an architect, has been with the firm since 2005.

Architects Josh Vel and Andrew Kordon have joined the Atlanta office of Perkins+Will. Vel has more than 15 years of experience in architectural design and master planning, with a focus on higher-education facilities. He was previously with MHTN Architects, Salt Lake City. Kordon, previously located in Perkins+Will's Minneapolis office for the past 17 years, also will focus on higher-education projects.

Somer Spencer has rejoined SchenkelShultz Architecture as an architect in the firm's Orlando office. Spencer was most recently self-employed in Jamaica. She previously worked for four years in SchenkelShultz's Tampa office.
