LOVETT
George Lovett was named director of business development for engineering and environmental consulting firm GAI Consultants, Orlando. Lovett recently retired after more than 24 years with the Florida Dept. of Transportation's District 5 office, where he most recently worked as director of transportation development.

David Miller of TLC Engineering for Architecture in Cocoa, Fla., was named the firm's corporate commissioning manager. In this new role, Miller will work with TLC's 33 certified commissioning authorities and 11 operating divisions to expand the firm's expertise in this field.

Bryan Sanetz was recently hired in West Palm Beach, Fla., as a project executive for Suffolk Construction Co.'s recently created health-care group. Sanetz comes to the company with more than 14 years of experience managing large-scale health-care construction projects in the state of Florida.

 

HOEFLICH
Kevin Hoeflich was hired as a vice president for RS&H's transportation program in Jacksonville, Fla. Hoeflich will serve as the firm's tolls program management market leader. He will be responsible for expanding RS&H's client base with tolling authorities across the U.S.

In addition, Lisa Robert was promoted to vice president of transportation for RS&H in Jacksonville. Robert joined the firm in 2010 as transportation leader.

O'Neal Inc., Greenville, S.C., hired Lisa Davis as a structural designer. Davis previously worked with Milliken & Co. and CH2M Hill.

Douglas Storer has joined H.J. High Construction Co., Orlando, as director of business development. Storer comes to the company with experience in public-private partnerships and alternative financing and development.

 

GREELEY
Joseph Greeley has joined the Sarasota, Fla., office of McKim & Creed as a project director. With more than 35 years of experience in environmental design, water and wastewater facilities and process design, he is responsible for business development, senior project management and service delivery for southwest Florida.

Cardno TBE, Clearwater, Fla., has hired Walt Childs as department of transportation/utilities liaison. Childs joins Cardno TBE after 42 years with the Florida Dept. of Transportation.

WSP Sells, Mooresville, N.C., has hired Ronald Smith as a senior project manager. Smith was previously with Dyer Riddle Mills & Precourt, Charlotte. He will be responsible for transportation business development in the Charlotte and upper South Carolina markets. In the firm's Cary, N.C., office, Michael Summer was hired as a program manager. Summer had worked for the North Carolina Dept. of Transportation for 27 years.

Sonja Grant was promoted to the position of project manager for Hardin Construction Co., Atlanta. Grant has been with the contractor since 2005. Clayton Wells was also promoted to project manager. He's been with the company since 2007. Also, Bryan Johnson was promoted to the position of controller.

Richard Bussell has joined Miller Legg, Miami, as a senior surveyor. Bussell has more than 40 years of industry experience and previously served as assistant district right-of-way surveyor for the District 6 office of the Florida Dept. of Transportation.
