Zackery House has been named chief operating officer of Chicago-based engineering firm Environmental Systems Design Inc. (ESD). House, who joined ESD in 2013 as leader for the firm's technology consulting engineering practice, has 24 years of experience in technology and construction. He previously worked for Wal-Mart Stores, serving various roles in its information systems and realty construction divisions.
Christie Judd has been promoted to vice president, human resources, with St. Louis-based design and construction firm PARIC. Judd, a three-year veteran with the firm, also joined the company's executive leadership team.
Sami Sarrouh, a 25-year veteran of research and project design, is leading a newly opened office for engineer T&M Associates, Cleveland. Sarrouh, a senior technical environmental engineer with the firm, has a broad range of experience in water and wastewater engineering, including applied research, facility planning, process selection and design, construction, operations and energy management. He and his team are focusing on water, wastewater and waste management projects.
Marc Faulkner has been named resident engineer with the Chicago office of engineer and construction manager WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff. In his new position, Faulkner is serving Chicago's Dept. of Aviation on O'Hare International Airport's modernization program, including renovations to an aircraft rescue and firefighting station.
