Terry Graber has been named president of Schaumburg, Ill.-based general contractor Power Construction. Graber, who joined Power in 1992, has been instrumental in earning the firm new clients and expanding its staff. Jeff Karp will continue to serve as Power's CEO and Al Gorman as its chairman.

Christy Picker Rothchild has been named in-house counsel with Chicago-based engineer Environmental Systems Design Inc. She previously was a partner with Jenner & Block, a Chicago-based law firm, and an assistant professor with Northwestern University School of Law in Evanston, Ill.

Whit Rogers has joined architect-engineer Cannon Design, St. Louis, as an architect. Rogers, who earned a bachelor of architecture at St. Louis-based Washington University, has studied at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine and abroad with Tamotsu Edo, a master carpenter in Japan.

Erik Nelson has been named structured cabling systems and health care technology team lead with Chicago-based engineer Environmental Systems Design Inc. Prior to joining the firm, Nelson was a lead communications engineer with Jacobs Engineering Group.

Michael H. Handelman has joined the Kansas City, Mo., office of designer AECOM as senior vice president. Handelman has more than 30 years of industry experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
