Australia VicRoads, the state highway department of Victoria, is planning to build the Mitcham and Rooks roads rail-separation project in Mitcham, a suburb of Melbourne. The project involves building a new station and lowering the Belgrave-Lilydale rail line to remove traffic conflicts and ease congestion. KBR Corp. is serving as project engineer. AUstralia Rio Tinto, a mining company, is planning to build the Anketell Port Project in Anketell, a suburb of Perth. The project entails the construction of a 15-kilometer shipping channel, jetties and associated shore-based infrastructure, including a desalination plant, powerplant, conveyors, and road and rail links. The facility will be used to export iron ore from the West Pilbara region. The project received environmental approval from the federal government in May 2013.
