As the initial March 27 deadline closed for ENR Southeast's 2023 Top Design Firms survey, more than 100 firms had completed their applications, listed at the bottom of this post. The responses show an increase in revenue among many firms, indicating a strong market as the industry continues to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and work through project backlogs. 

But in order to give firms who have started but not completed submissions a little more time, and to reach our goal of last year's 133 submissions, we extended that deadline to Monday, April 3. 

That gave regional design firms an extra week to participate in ENR Southeast’s 2023 Top Design Firms survey, which takes a look at how architecture and engineering firms fared in 2022 in the Southeast region, which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Puerto Rico.
