This year, more than 20 firms participating in ENR Southeast's Top Specialty Contractors survey submitted information to be considered as the Specialty Contractor of the Year. Based on a review of these submissions, two firms were then nominated for the honor. After a vote by a nationwide group of ENR editors, Rosendin Electric has been named as ENR Southeast's 2019 Specialty Contractor of the Year. The firm, which opened a new office in Charlotte in 2017, reported strong Southeast revenue growth via our annual Top Specialty Contractors survey

According to that survey, Rosendin reported $80.3 million in Southeast revenue during 2018, a jump of about 55% from the $51.75 million that it logged during 2017. Additionally, through our survey system, the company explained that Charlotte, in particular, made a strong contribution to the firm's success during 2018. Among the noteworthy items that Rosendin pointed out to ENR Southeast was the successful completion of high-profile projects in Charlotte, including 300 South Tryon, as well as its listing as the "Top Electrical Contractor" by the Charlotte Business Journal.

Among the firm's recent contracting assignments is Project Agile, where Rosendin handled the office space build out for this conversion of an 83,000-sq-ft 1890’s-era mill space into Duke Energy office space.

ENR Southeast will highlight these and other achievements in the Sept. 2, 2019 print edition of ENR Southeast. Congratulations to Rosendin Electric.
