As promised, we're continuing to provide some additional previews of some of the numerous rankings we're going to be publishing in our upcoming Top Design issue. We've already posted a preview of the main ranking, which is based on design billings generated during 2008 from the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. We also just posted a look at the top 25 firms in the state of Florida.

This breakout ranking of the top Georgia firms is based upon the amount of design revenue each firm generated during the 2008 calendar year from projects located within the state of Georgia. CH2M Hill took the top spot on this Georgia breakout, and also was No. 1 in the overall ranking. (CH2M Hill knocked out PBS&J from the overall top spot for the first time.)

Together, the top 25 design firms listed here reported more than $908 million in 2008 design billings from the state of Georgia. All figures are in millions.
