ENR West: Northwest 2025 Contractor of the Year: Kiewit

Kiewit is handling the City of Portland's Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion program which involves the addition of two (2) new 150-foot diameter clarifier.

ENR regional editors have selected Kiewit as the magazine's 2025 Contractor of the year for the West Region: Northwest.
Kiewit's regional revenue in the Pacific Northwest topped $1.3 billion in 2024. The company's projects include some of the region's largest and most complicated efforts in transportation, water and transmission.
In Washington, Kiewit has been involved with several projects that are part of Sound Transit's multi-billion-dollar light rail expansion including the Federal Way Link Extension, Lynnwood Link Extension and Redmond Link Extension.
In Oregon, the firm has been handling several major water projects including Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion, the Willamette Water Supply Raw Water Facilities Project and the $2 billion Bull Run Filtration Facility for the Portland Water Bureau.
Additionally, across the northwest, Kiewit Transmission Services Inc. is executing a five-year capital improvement wildfire hardening program involving transmission lines, distribution lines and substations in Washington, Oregon, California, Wyoming and Utah for a regional utility.
