ENR East Gears Up to Publish Top Design Firm Rankings

ENR seeks regional specialty firms, design firms and construction firms to file surveys to be ranked on its regional Top Specialty Contractors, Top Contractors and Top Design Firm rankings.
More than 100 firms have filed surveys to be included in the 2026 ENR East Top Design Firms ranking. While the deadline to submit has passed, there still might be time to enter a survey for the list.

The ENR East ranking of engineers and architects includes firms doing business in Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. Rankings are based on total regional revenue of design services of participating firms. Design firms will also be ranked by state revenues and various design specialties and disciplines, as applicable.
The ranking follows the 2025 consolidation of ENR regional editions into five new regions to reflects an ongoing commitment to deliver the most relevant and timely coverage to readers, in alignment with the evolving landscape of the construction industry. The survey asks firms if they would like to be considered as a candidate for Regional Design Firm of the Year. If your firm has positive news to share about company growth, major project announcements or other milestones, this is your opportunity to tell us about it!
The May 25 issue of ENR East will include features on the 2026 ENR MidAtlantic Design Firm of the Year and the 2026 ENR New York Design Firm of the Year, the selection of which is based on a review of companies' business achievements, projects and other accomplishments in 2025.
