ENR New York Announces 2025 Best Projects Winners
Industry judges award 25 projects that will be featured in the November issue of ENR East
The Delta Air Lines, Inc. LGA Airfield Reconfiguration Program in East Elmhurst, N.Y. won the Best Project-level award in the Airport/Transit category.
ENR New York is excited to announce this year’s group of regional Best Project winners. This year’s judges have awarded 25 projects in 16 main categories; no award was given by the judges in the Sports/Entertainment category this year.
In addition to the 2025 main category winners found in the list below, the Best Projects safety and sustainability awardees, which are juried by a separate group of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced in the ENR New York free e-newsletter. Finalists for this year’s ENR New York Project of the Year will also be announced soon in the newsletter. _____________________________________________________________

Judges’ selection for this year’s overall Project of the Year from the Best Project-level winners listed below will be announced in the Nov. 24 issue of ENR East.

This year’s winning projects in the main categories—listed at the bottom of this post—will also be profiled in depth in the November print issue of ENR East. Projects were all located in New York and New Jersey.
Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, safety, construction/design quality, and contribution to the industry and the community. Due to the large number of entries, we can only cite a fraction of projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!
This year’s New York judges for the main categories were: Dana Blackwood, business manager at Turner Construction Co.; James Harrison, executive vice president at Schimenti Construction; KiSeok Jeon, vice president, digital advisory, STV; Ioanna Magiati, architect and partner at AO Architects; Craig Melograno, president at PDM Constructors; Stuart Meurer, president and chief executive and Windover Construction; and Catherine Woodworth, area superintendent at Hensel Phelps.
Judges could select any combination of Best Project-level and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, judges decided not to give an award for the category.
