ENR’s Excellence in Safety Award is now in its eighth year as part of the annual regional Best Projects competition. This year, ENR Texas & Louisiana is honoring four projects for their outstanding safety records and job-site procedures.
Our safety judges reviewed over 50 entries, considering many factors in their decisions, including a project’s overall safety program, OSHA recordable incident rate, lost time accident rate as well as total man hours on the job.
This year's independent panel of safety experts included Brent Fisher, director of safety, Yates Construction, and Trista Shomo, safety manager, Manhattan Construction Co.
We'll feature all our Best Projects winners in the October 5 issue of ENR Texas & Louisiana.
All winning project teams — as well as our Owner of the Year, Design Firm of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Specialty Contractor of the Year and Legacy Award winner — will also be celebrated in Houston on October 23 at the JW Marriott Houston. Click here to register for the event!
Congratulations to all our winners!
