Wilmington, Del.-based Bancroft Construction promoted Mike Petka to president and CEO, succeeding Greg Sawka, who is retiring. Petka had been vice president of operations. During his presidency, Sawka opened offices in Princeton, N.J., and Salisbury, Md.
Marc DePaul has been elevated to president of New York City-based construction management firm Pavarini McGovern. He was previously vice president of operations. Also promoted was Matt Sarver, who now is executive vice president. He was formerly a senior vice president at the firm.
The Lean Construction Institute, Arlington, Va., has named Brian Perlberg as CEO to succeed Dan Heinemeier, who retires in December. Heinemeier had been senior counsel of construction law and contracts at the Associated General Contractors of America and also had been executive director and senior counsel of the ConsensusDocs coalition that manages the array of standard industry contract documents. Under his leadership, the ConsensusDocs 300 Lean Integrated Project Delivery Standard Contract was introduced, the first integrated form of agreement incorporating Lean tools and principles, said the group. He also was general counsel and government affairs director of Design-Build Institute of America.
WSP promoted Salvatore Iodice to senior vice president to lead the firm’s national bridge inspection services. Based in New York City, he was Northeast region bridge inspection manager.
Design firm AE Works hired Jose Galindo as chief technology officer. Based in Pittsburgh, he was chief innovation officer at Texas-based design firm MORE group.
Tysons, Va., specialty contractor M.C. Dean named Pushkar Vaidya as its first director of product engineering. He held leadership roles at Accelera and Cummins.
Bo Koloski has joined O&G Industries, Torrington, Conn., as vice president and Rhode Island business unit leader, based in Providence. He had been vice president of business development at KBE Building.
Hanover, Md.-based geotechnical contractor Keller North America appointed Jim Doyna chief financial officer. He was CFO for contractor MasTec’s power delivery group and worked for Jacobs Solutions. Doyna is based in Denver.
Skanska USA Building promoted Jenny Chandler to executive vice president and chief strategy officer and Tieg Murray Rustam to vice president of market strategy and creative services. Chandler was vice president of market strategy and creative services. Rustam was senior director of market strategy.
Gilbane Building Cos. promoted John E. Anderson III to business leader of New Jersey operations based in Newark. A sixth-generation Gilbane family member, he worked for the firm in New York City.
New York City’s Dept. of Design and Construction named Joseph Crupi as deputy commissioner for public buildings and Santhosh Chemban as engineering audit officer. Crupi had been associate commissioner for public buildings and also led the construction management unit at the city Dept. of Environmental Protection. Chemban most recently was executive director of the NYC DDC engineering audit office, overseeing vendor payments and contract performance reviews.
Jessica Randolph and Heather Ivester have joined LiRo-Hill as vice presidents in Boston. Randolph, who will oversee architectural operations in New England, was vice president of SGA Architects. Ivester, who is managing regional transportation and infrastructure operations, had been a vice president of HNTB.
