Victor Malerba Jr.

Victor Malerba Jr. was elevated to principal, based in New York City, at Seattle global design firm MG2. He will focus on complex multifamily residential and mixed-use projects, lead studio business operations and oversee firm growth.

 

JCJ Architecture has promoted Nathan Tuttle to associate principal. He has served as the Hartford, Conn.-based firm’s director of technical standards since 2018. The company also promoted eight individuals to associate: Laura Bedus, Nicole Brown, Steven Frazier, Aaron Guthridge, Matthew Horn, Jennifer Krinsky, Hye-Gueong Lee and Keith R. Mercy.

Wilson Chang

Sunrock Distributed Generation, a New York City commercial solar and distributed generation developer, named Wilson Chang as CEO. With nearly two decades of experience in financing and building clean energy and technology firms, he will lead Sunrock’s U.S. growth. Chang was a partner and managing director of Hudson Sustainable Group, where he co-founded Sunlight Financial, a residential solar finance platform.

Peter Davis has joined Dewberry as a market segment leader focusing on expanding transit and rail services for the consulting firm’s transportation group in Bloomfield, N.J. The 40-year industry veteran was a consultant for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and also headed projects for NJ Transit, MTA Metro-North Railroad and MTA Long Island Railroad.

Stephen Bonasera

Stephen Bonasera, senior vice president of preconstruction at L+M Development Partners, has been named a partner in the firm’s New York City office. In his new role, Bonasera will be an integral part of L+M’s development pipeline and diversification strategy related to sustainable affordable housing. Before joining L+M 15 years ago, he was chief estimator at Triton Construction Co.

Fuss & O’Neill has elevated Sudip Bafna, vice president, to environmental and facility services business line leader. He has been involved with environmental compliance projects, environmental management systems and site investigation and remediation in his career. In his new role, Bafna leads the Manchester, Conn.-based firm’s compliance, environmental and remediation departments.

Waltham, Mass.-based Simpson Gumpertz & Heger has split its engineering mechanics and infrastructure group in Boston into two divisions, with Robert MacNeil, associate principal, now leading structural mechanics and materials and Peter Nardini leading water and industrial infrastructure.

Caren Jenkins

Boston-based Shawmut Design and Construction Co. has hired Michael Christopher and Caren Jenkins as business development directors in New England. Christopher was director of development review at the Boston Planning and Development Agency. Jenkins was client strategist at CRB, a design, construction and consulting firm specializing in life sciences.


Andrea Springer has joined Cambridge, Mass.-based CDM Smith as vice president of digital engineering solutions to lead its new digital hub. She had been vice president of digital technology and innovation at Stantec. The hub focused firm has technology expertise in areas that include augmented and virtual reality, automation, remote sensing, AI, reality capture and data science.

Miranda Nolan

Boston-based offshore wind energy developer Vineyard Offshore has hired Miranda Nolan as digital communications manager, a newly created position. She previously worked as senior content specialist at Matter Communications, also in Boston. Nolan now manages Vineyard Offshore digital properties.
