Sundt Construction, Phoenix, announced multiple promotions and a new hire. Keenan Driscoll has been named the firm’s next chief financial officer. Travis McCarthy was promoted to senior vice president and Southwest regional manager for Sundt’s transportation group, and Lou Mantrom was elevated to manager of craft talent acquisition. Sundt also recently added field superintendent Alex Billesbach to its building group.

Ryan Abbott has been hired at Clayco as executive vice president, Southwest region, based in Phoenix. Abbott will work across all Clayco business units as well as its subsidiaries Concrete Strategies, Lamar Johnson Collaborative and Clayco Design and Engineering.

Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has hired retired Maj. Gen. Mike Wehr, former deputy chief of engineers and deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as vice president, sector manager for defense, based in Reno, Nev.

Marybeth Bunker has joined Corgan’s Phoenix office as vice president and director of business development for the national aviation practice.

Clay Creaser has been promoted to vice president at JE Dunn, Phoenix. Creaser has spent the last 18 years delivering mixed-use, commercial and higher education projects throughout Arizona.

The Opus Group has named Derek Flottum vice president for real estate development at Opus Development Co. LLC. He will advance Phoenix-area industrial and multifamily pursuits—from new site identification to financial structuring, construction and project completion.

Kevin Evernham has been promoted to regional vice president of Ware Malcomb’s Southwest region, which includes the firm’s Phoenix, Dallas and Houston offices. Eric Zitny has been promoted to director, regional operations, Southwest region.

Chris Eggers has been promoted to business center practice leader within the transportation group at Stantec, Phoenix. Mike Smejkal has joined Stantec as a senior project manager based in the Tucson office to help further grow the firm’s Phoenix aviation team.

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, Tempe, Ariz., is expanding its Southwest office. New hires include Molly Ahrens as a marketing manager; Jason Axtell as a project manager; Kristie Breeden as a project manager II; Cristian Gutierrez as a project manager; and Mike Tompkins as a senior superintendent. The company also announced the following promotions: Zac Byard to senior superintendent; Vince Castillo to senior project manager; Caleb Frost to assistant project manager; Jonathon Harper to assistant project manager; Steve Reamer to assistant project manager; Kelly Salvione to director of project operations; and Joel Splinter to quality control manager.

The PENTA Building Group has promoted five team members across its Las Vegas and Phoenix offices. Las Vegas promotions included Carolina Lamartine to senior project engineer; John Colman to preconstruction executive; EJ Jeyapandian to project executive; and Don Farnham to general superintendent. In Phoenix, Stephanie Ohmer was promoted to senior contract administrator.

W.E. O’Neil announced four new hires at its Phoenix office: Jesus Frausto as a project engineer; Tyler Posten as a senior project manager; and Scott McAdams and Adam Macey as project managers.
