Empire West Main LLC is expected to start construction on the West Main Street Apartments Mixed-Use Building in Stamford on Dec. 1. The up to $25-million design-bid-build project has received demolition permits. The 110-unit project would include one five-story above grade building totaling 105,000 total sq ft. Dec. 1 is the target bid date for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Worcester Union Station Improvements. Optimus Senior Living LLC is planning a 116-unit senior living facility at 15 Pinewood Road in Allenstown. Transmission Developers Inc. is planning the $2.2-billion Champlain Hudson Power Express Transmission Line from the Canadian border to Queens. The 336-mile line would have underground and underwater segments, including beneath Lake Champlain and the Hudson, Harlem and East rivers. The system would include one 1,000-MW direct current line.
