David SharrockDavid Sharrock has joined JHL Constructors as director of preconstruction services. Sharrock moved from Oklahoma to Colorado Springs in 1997 after receiving his bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University.
 

 

Yuri MereszczakYuri Mereszczak has joined Parametrix as a senior engineer in the firm’s Boise office. He will provide transportation planning and engineering services for public agencies, highway districts and local municipalities.

Dave HammelDave Hammel retired from Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture on June 30 after 43 years with the firm. Hammel has been with the design firm since he joined BRS during his sophomore year in 1977. He eventually became a principal and served as the firm’s CFO.
 

 

Mark GabertDenver’s R&R Engineers - Surveyors Inc. has made Mark Gabert the firm’s new survey manager. Gabert, licensed in Colorado and Kansas, has more than 30 years’ experience in land surveying.

 

 

Melanie J. SnyderDenver’s Regional Transportation District has hired Melanie J. Snyder as the transit agency’s next general counsel. Snyder brings more than 15 years of experience representing clients in both the public and private sectors.

 

 

Tom SorleyThe Sundt Cos., parent company of Salt Lake City general contractor Sundt Construction, has added Tom Sorley to its board of directors. Sorley retired as chief executive officer from Rosendin Electric in December and currently serves as the company’s executive chairman.
 

 

Nate HolstHowell Construction recently hired Nate Holst as a superintendent. Holst brings 25 years of industry experience working on complex ground-up facilities, civil roadways and infrastructure upgrades.

 

 

Taylor KohrsTaylor Kohrs recently hired Nathan “Bear” Krieg as a superintendent. He brings 18 years of construction management experience in a variety of roles throughout the project life cycle. Krieg earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Taylor Kohrs also hired Jake Johnson as a project engineer. Johnson earned a degree in construction management from Colorado State University.

 

Gillian HeveyAnderson Hallas Architects has hired Gillian Hevey as a job captain. She has a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in art and art history from Washington College.
