This facility houses the university’s executive education programs and an expanded business career services center along with administrative and faculty space. The project team was challenged with demolishing an existing building surrounded by a large parking structure, operational classroom buildings and pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Another challenge was the need to be done in time for the start of fall 2018 classes. The team implemented pull planning, last planner systems, constraint management, just-in-time deliveries, daily productivity huddles, visual five-week rolling schedule boards and accountability measurements to keep the project on track.
