To build four 17,000-sq-ft fire stations throughout the Cy-Fair area, contractor JE Dunn created a schedule that staggered the start dates for each of the stations by four to six weeks. This allowed JE Dunn to use the same trade partners on each fire station by moving an entire crew from one fire station to the next and enabling the team to complete all four structures within two years. Each of the stations is framed in structural steel, with brick, stone and metal panels as the skin. They were designed and built for maximum efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
