Crews from the Turner-Flatiron joint venture perform excavation for the Concourse A-West Expansion at Denver International Airport. The $1.5-billion project will add a total of 39 gates, 12 of them on A-West. The 30% increase in gate capacity will allow the airport to accommodate new airlines, including more international carriers, and add passenger amenities in each of the concourses.
