Located in Denver’s central business district, the 1.1-million-sq-ft Block 162 office building will reach a height of 452 ft. The project includes 12 floors of parking, 20 floors of Class A office space and ground-level retail. Block 162 also will feature an 11th floor sky terrace with a tenant-exclusive fitness center, indoor-outdoor social lounge and an outdoor garden. A column-free design allows for office spaces with floor-to-ceiling glass and 595,000 sq ft of rental space. The $180-million project was designed by Gensler and is being built by Swinerton, with completion expected in December 2020. It is currently on pace to achieve LEED Gold certification.
