Ben Wright has joined Dunaway in Fort Worth as chief financial officer. Wright was previously the CFO at Icon Credit Union in Boise, where he was responsible for all aspects of financial management for the $270-million financial institution. He has almost 20 years of experience in corporate finance.
Nova Albers has been hired as Dunaway’s human resources executive. She joins Dunaway after spending almost five years at Exeter Finance.
HKS made two promotions at its Dallas office. Bernita Beikmann has been named chief process officer, a newly created role. Beikmann will be responsible for creating a detailed methodology to direct the company’s work. A 23-year veteran of HKS, Beikmann most recently served in senior leadership in the firm’s health sector.
Julie Hiromoto has been named to the new position of director of integration. Hiromoto previously served as director of the HKS New York office. She was also previously an adjunct instructor on sustainable building design for New York University and a principal for the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology.
Bryan Shuford has been named executive vice president/general manager of Persons Service Corp. He will be leading the firm’s civil, site and infrastructure group in Houston.
Binkley & Barfield Inc. made two new hires in its Houston office. Sargon Youhannazad has joined the firm in the new position of vice president, strategic transportation development. He will focus on the growth of the company’s statewide transportation practice.
Harold “JR” Reddish has been hired in the new position of chief engineer. Reddish, who has more than 40 years of engineering experience, will be responsible for implementing operational procedures and controls to improve project performance, communication and project information.
Hargrove and Associates Inc., Baton Rouge, has hired Hien Nguyen as vice president of refining and petrochemicals. She has more than 27 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry. Nguyen most recently served in an international construction and site execution management role in Nigeria.
Hunt, Guillot & Associates (HGA), Ruston, La., announced the hiring of Mike Killgore as vice president of construction services. Killgore began his career at T. L. James & Co. in Ruston while attending Louisiana Tech University. Killgore’s 42 years of experience included positions with James Construction Group and Primoris.
MYCON General Contractors, Dallas, has hired Wesley Weaver as vice president. He will focus on developing and managing key clients and projects in commercial and municipal markets. Prior to joining MYCON, Weaver spent 18 years with a large family-owned construction firm.
Matthew C. Johnson has joined Primoris Services Corp., Dallas, as vice president of sales for the industrial construction and engineering groups, responsible for projects on the U.S. Gulf, the West Coast and in Western Canada. His 30 years of industrial experience includes positions with Chicago Bridge and Iron and Saulsbury Industries.
Kimberly Burke has been promoted to vice president of business development at Skanska USA’s Dallas office. Burke joined Skanska in July 2013 as senior director of business development to spearhead firm growth and establish Skanska’s presence in North Texas and Oklahoma.
Steve Lyons was promoted to vice president of business development at Skanska’s San Antonio office. Lyons has worked in the A/E/C industry for 13 years. He joined Skanska USA in 2014 as director of business development for Central and South Texas operations.
Talley Riggins Construction Group has made five new hires at its Plano, Texas, office. Mike Williams has joined the firm as vice president of preconstruction, Harold Cook and Tony Hill as superintendents, Ed Bullard as assistant superintendent and Clay Rittershaus as project engineer.
AECOM hired Bruce Cole as client account manager and assistant vice president for the firm’s Dallas and North Texas area operations. Cole is a professional engineer with more than 30 years of design and project delivery experience.

AJ Breneman has been promoted to principal in Powers Brown Architecture’s Houston office. She most recently served as a senior design manager.

Donald Brinkman was hired as the new sector lead for Southwest Louisiana and ports at CSRS Inc., Lake Charles, La. He brings more than 20 years of expertise in both the private and public sectors with a focus on ports and municipal work.
Shandrian Ugwuoke has joined HNTB in Austin as senior environmental planner. Ugwuoke has more than 15 years of experience in transportation and environmental planning at the local, state and federal levels.
Prior to joining HNTB, Ugwuoke served as development review committee administrator for the city of Denton, Texas.
Holly Ahumada has joined Freese and Nichols Inc. as a stormwater engineer in Fort Worth specializing in advanced 2D modeling for large-scale water resources projects. She has worked on multiple watershed studies in Texas and Louisiana. In 2018, she was the Texas Society of Professional Engineers’ Young Engineer of the Year for Fort Worth.
Chris Johnson has been hired as a stormwater engineer in Freese & Nichol’s Denton office and will be involved in business development and as a senior adviser. He most recently was an engineering manager for the city of Fort Worth.
Mark Scheurer has joined the firm as a stormwater engineer in Dallas. He is an established project manager experienced in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and stormwater infrastructure design as well as in channel design and large-scale land development projects involving residential, commercial and industrial components.
Dawit Zeweldi was hired as a stormwater engineer in Dallas. He has more than 20 years of national and international experience in water resources planning, design and implementation.
Colin Young relocated to Freese and Nichols’ Tulsa office as a senior project manager and project lead for the firm’s dam-related work across Oklahoma. He has 26 years of industry experience. He previously was in Freese and Nichols’ Raleigh office.
Dan Green has joined Sundt Construction as a project manager in the San Antonio office. Green brings 25 years of experience to his new role as project manager of the Canopy by Hilton Downtown San Antonio project. Most recently, he served as a branch manager for a construction and maintenance company in San Antonio. He previously worked for Sundt as an estimator on numerous government projects.
Paul Zimmerman was recently promoted to project executive at HITT’s Houston office. He facilitates client relationships and is responsible for contract review, negotiation and administration.
Brett Steinberg was promoted to general manager of Carlisle Coatings & Waterproofing Inc., based in the firm’s Wylie, Texas, office. Steinberg joined CCW as Eastern states sales manager in July 2018, managing CCW’s Northeast and Southeast regions.
Preston Cope has been promoted from senior project manager to project director with McCarthy Building Cos. in Houston. The most recent project he worked on was the CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline.

E.E. Reed Construction, Houston, announced the promotion of Matt White to superintendent. White has been with the firm for eight years and previously served as an assistant superintendent. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years.
