Legoland Co. and Merlin Entertainments Group is planning the Legoland New York $467-million theme park project in Goshen. The site will include a theme park with 26 rides and attractions, two theaters, 10 retail areas and 15 restaurants in eight themed areas. The project will also have five buildings in a back-of-house area totaling 81,000 sq ft to house administration, maintenance and other operations offices. The Collective is planning The Collective co-living mixed-use building project in Brooklyn. The reinforced concrete framed building will be 27 stories high and encompass 259,362 sq ft. It will have a market hall selling food, beverages and retail goods; a restaurant and bar; rooftop amenities; an outdoor terrace; multiple co-working areas; an art gallery; and performance and rehearsal spaces. Triple Five American Dream is planning the American Dream Meadlowlands Complex in East Rutherford, N.J. The $5-billion entertainment and retail project will include a 65,000-sq-ft, 3,000-seat performing arts theater; a 180,000-sq-ft, 5,000-seat movie theater; an 800-ft-tall indoor ski slope; an observation wheel with 26 gondolas that hold 15 people each; a 225,000-sq-ft water park; 1 million sq ft for 300 retail stores; and 150,000 sq ft for 50 restaurants.
