Infrastructure construction should remain robust throughout Atlanta for the next several years, Parker says. In addition to a $6-billion program at the Atlanta airport, “the Georgia Dept. of Transportation is beginning to deliver the largest program in the agency’s history,” he says, while MARTA is focusing on its first expansion program in decades. “Surrounding counties are actively studying transit expansion and the potential exists for several referendums over the next several years,” he says.
