G2 LNG LLC and Southern California Telephone & Energy LNG are planning to build the Monkey Island LNG Processing Export Facility and Port at the Calcasieu Ship Channel in Cameron. Financing of the project is secured, and further advancement is pending federal permit approval. The target for beginning construction is mid-2017. The proposed facility would be able to export 14 million metric tons of LNG a year. The project is valued at $9 billion. Texas The Houston Airport System is seeking an RFQ for architectural services on the Mickey Leland International Terminal.
