Raymond Crane was appointed vice president of client services in the San Francisco buildings sector office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
Clune Construction has hired Leina Zimmerman as senior vice president, general manager; she will lead the San Francisco Bay Area office. She founded and served as president of a business networking and philanthropy organization for women in the commercial real estate industry and has held leadership positions within organizations including USGBC’s Silicon Valley chapter and CoreNet Northern California Chapter.
The Los Angeles office of architect CallisonRTKL has named Amber Richane senior associate vice president. In her new role, Richane will lead the firm’s performance-driven design team. She will also guide, implement and manage the firm’s sustainability strategy. Richane was named one of ENR California’s Top 20 Under 40 designees in 2014 and previously served as a director for Callison. The firm is a unit of Netherlands-based ARCADIS NV.
Rosendin Electric has promoted Michael Holmes to director of preconstruction in the San Francisco Bay Area. Beginning his career as a U.S. Navy electrician, he has held a variety of roles, including journeyman, foreman, estimator and project manager and previously served as Rosendin’s preconstruction manager in Sacramento for the past eight years.
Rosendin has also named Jeffrey Dorf director of corporate marketing, working in the San Jose office. For the last three years, he has served as preconstruction manager for the firm’s Southwest operations. Dorf started as a laborer, carpenter and ironworker in New York before earning his bachelor’s degree from Penn State and a master’s from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania.
Landmark Construction has added Tracy Asher and Marty Flaherty as project managers. Asher will manage the $4-million Dry Creek Elementary School District Support Services Facilities project in Roseville. He previously served as a project manager for Roebbelen Contracting Inc. Flaherty will handle preconstruction services and estimating for the Lincoln High School Farm Improvement Project for the Western Placer Unified School District and several other projects. He previously worked as the Western U.S. and Canada division project manager for GeoStabilization International.
Ariana Benavente has been named employee benefits account manager for Cavignac & Associates, a San Diego-based risk management and commercial insurance brokerage firm. She had been a client manager and senior account manager at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Jeff Bernards has joined commercial drywall contractor Sharpe Interior Systems in the newly created position of executive vice president, after serving 23 years with general contractor Bernards.
The firm also promoted Fayez Zorob to vice president, where he will oversee Sharpe’s tenant-improvement portfolio. In addition, 20-year company veteran Kenney Asmus was promoted to director of operations.
Larry Nibbi celebrated his 50th anniversary with Nibbi Brothers General Contractors. He began his career at the age of 20 at the firm founded by his father, Marino. In 1989, Nibbi became president of the firm and has been its CEO since 2005.
