Maine Regional School Unit 21 is planning additions and renovations for Kennebunk High School, Kennebunkport Consolidated School and Mildred L. Day School. Designs are underway with construction expected to start in spring 2016. Harriman Associates, Auburn, is the architect. New Hampshire

Sora Development, Towson, Md., in partnership with the Town of Durham, N.H., and the University System of New Hampshire, is planning the Oyster Square Mixed-Use development in Durham. The 213,000-sq-ft development includes a U-shaped four-story structure with a 20,000-sq-ft landscaped public plaza. Plans call for student housing, an underground parking garage, lab space, offices, research areas and retail spaces. Hord Coplan Macht, Baltimore, is the architect. Rhode Island

The city of East Providence, in association with GeoNova Development, New York, is planning the East Pointe Mixed-Use Development. The $200-million development could include a mix of town homes, single-family homes, high-rise condominiums, retail space and commercial space.
