Nevada Cancer Institute – Support Services Building

This three-story, 102,000-sq-ft office addition consists of support service areas that include offices, labs and a 200-seat conference center. The LEED silver, steel-framed building, on 5.67 acres, has a glass and sandstone exterior with metal louver sunscreens. It marks the second structure for the four-year-old institute, a state-of-the-art cancer research center for prevention, detection and treatment. The project also entailed construction of an adjacent five-story, 525-space parking garage.
