OSHA, Skanska Partner for Safety on Westin Peachtree Project
Skanska USA Building of Atlanta, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Georgia Tech Research Institute recently signed a strategic partnership contract focusing on job-site safety for the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel’s glass-replacement project.
The primary goals of the partnership are preventing work-related injuries, controlling or eliminating serious workplace hazards, and establishing an effective safety and health program.
Skanska is replacing 6,350 windows in the 73-story Westin in approximately 15 months.
