GELFO
Mark Gelfo was named director of business development and sustainability for TLC Engineering for Architecture in Jacksonville, Fla. A principal at the firm, Gelfo has directed the company's Jacksonville office for the past 10 years.

Rafi Wartan was named to take Gelfo's former position as director of TLC's Jacksonville office. Wartan, a firm principal, is a senior electrical engineer who has been with TLC for the past 10 years.

Cheryl Maze will support Gelfo as corporate marketing and branding manager from TLC's Orlando office. She has more than 15 years of architecture and engineering marketing experience. Also, Rania Girgis was hired as business development representative for the health care market.

 

HANSON
Craig Hanson was promoted to principal for SchenkelShultz Architecture in Orlando. Hanson has been with the firm for 15 years.

In Tampa, SchenkelShultz promoted five-year firm veteran Brook Sherrard to associate principal. In Naples, the firm announced that marketing manager Bridget Paterno was named an associate. Finally, in Orlando, architect Johnnie Lohrum was named an associate.

Eric Wilson was named senior project manager for SIKON Construction Co., Deerfield Beach, Fla. Wilson has 29 years of related experience.

Richard Carbone was promoted to the position of vice president for Orlando-based general contractor Roger B. Kennedy Inc. The 14-year company veteran previously served as a senior project manager.

James Oliver was promoted to the position of vice president of field operations at Roger B. Kennedy. He has been with the firm since 1994.

Danny Vipperman has joined drywall contractor Precision Walls in Greer, S.C., as a project manager. He has 12 years of construction experience, with the last seven in the acoustical ceiling and drywall industry.

Orlando-based architecture, planning and interior design firm VOA Associates recently promoted five employees to vice president: Elizabeth DeLaurentis, David Dement, Jay Jensen, Joani Jordaan and Lisa Pruitt.
