The $16-million CENTRA project transformed a vacated 1980s office building into a new corporate facility located between the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey's Metropark Train Station. The project included the expansion of office space to 110,000 sq ft from 80,000 sq ft and the addition of a 10,000-sq-ft top floor and 20,000 sq ft of office space. It also features tenant amenities by way of two excavated light wells in a previously unoccupied basement. The design includes a tree column, sunken gardens, an oculus, a bridge lobby and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide views to the building's plaza, garden, rain forest and the tree-buffered street.
