Anthony’s key urban and campus planning projects include Riverside South Master Plan in New York, Columbia University’s Manhattanville expansion, and a comprehensive master plan for Marist College. His work has been featured in Passenger Terminal World, Casabella, and Architectural Record. He lectured on airport design and planning at the Transportation Research Board and at the Passenger Terminal Expo.

He received a Master of Architecture Degree from Columbia University, and a BA from Holy Cross College. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is the former chair of Terminal Planning for the Airports Consultant Council.

Brand has over 42 years of experience as a geotechnical and foundation engineer and is a regular author and presenter on geotechnical engineering subjects. Al has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union and a Master’s Degree in Soil Mechanics from Cornell University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and five other states. He serves as a continuing professional competency program evaluator for the Practicing Institute of Engineering. He is the immediate past president of The Moles, and a member of the Board of the New York Chapter of The National Society of Professional Engineers.

Scarangello serves as chairman of the board, leading strategic direction and oversight of the firm while also being highly engaged with clients, projects and staff development. He has more than 30 years of experience in the structural engineering of the wide variety of building types, from long-span sports and entertainment arenas and stadiums to high-rise commercial and mixed-use buildings, in both steel and concrete. His recent credits include oversight of structural design for Yankee Stadium, The New York Times Building and Basrah Sport City in Iraq. He has experience in the application of state-of-the-art engineering technologies for building analysis, design and construction, including project delivery strategies. Tom has been an instrumental force for Thornton Tomasetti becoming a leader in Building Information Modeling.

Since joining Thornton Tomasetti in 1979, Tom has been an active member of a variety of engineering associations, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, the International Association of Assembly Managers and the Structural Engineers Association of New York. A registered professional engineer in 28 states, he has published numerous papers, authored many articles and publications, and served as an expert witness. He has given many guest lectures and served as an adjunct professor at Manhattan College.

Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 1979 and his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 1982. He also received a Professional Mechanic’s Degree through a Ph.D. program at Columbia University in 1987.

Neuwerth currently serves as president of Dewberry’s Northeast Region, part of the firm’s nationwide infrastructure engineering practice. He is responsible for the overall direction and management of large projects undertaken by the firm in the northeast and is heavily involved with client liaison activities, establishing the general direction of projects, problem resolution and value engineering studies. Gary holds doctorate and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
