Stephen M. Muck Co-Founded Advanced Construction Robotics, Inc. in 2016 where he leads as CEO, bringing over 30 years of experience in business and construction related fields. Under his direction, Steve established a unique and unparalleled partnership between world class robotics experts, construction industry veterans, and an innovative business team to realize his vision of commercializing intelligent products for the construction industry.
Throughout his career, Steve has started or acquired over twenty businesses and currently operates a portfolio of several companies focused around heavy civil construction. At the beginning of 1993, Steve completed his first small leveraged buy out (LBO) and acquired a specialty structure contractor, Brayman Construction Corporation, with revenues of approximately $7 million. Over the more than 27 years that have ensued, Steve has developed his primary business to the level of becoming an ENR 400 Top Contractor (one of the 400th largest contractors in the United States), with revenues in excess of $160 million. The company is currently ranked as #13 in the Pittsburgh Business Times’ Largest Construction Contractors list and is in the top 50 Largest Privately Held Companies in the Pittsburgh region, as well as #45 on the Engineering News Record’s (ENR) MidAtlantic Top Contractors list and is newly ranked #3 in West Virginia and #10 in Pennsylvania on the ENR MidAtlantic Specialty Contractor List. In 2018 Brayman Construction Corporation received AGC/Autodesk’s Most Innovative Contractor Award.
In construction related endeavors alone, Steve oversees approximately $200 million in revenue. annually with key interests in engineering, construction, explosive demolition, commercial diving, deep foundation installations and oil & gas site work. Steve continues his leadership roles in many construction-related organizations and has participated in various community-related board activities. Steve also created the Muck Family Foundation which supports a diverse charitable giving program.
Steve obtained a B.S. in Finance from Ohio University, a M.B.A. from Penn State University and has participated in the annual CEO/YPO Harvard Presidents’ Seminar for the past six years.
