A historic renovation within New Orleans’ famed Warehouse District converted a four-story, early 1900s building from three apartments and a commercial space into a single-family residence. The project gutted more than 75% of the building and installed completely new and extensive HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. Each floor had its own challenges, from rotted wood beams and windows to uneven floors and out-of-plumb walls. All work had to be performed within a tight six-month time frame, so the project team built the schedule to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
