Jobn Rodell, the executive vice president of Madison, Wis.-based Quarra Stone, has tapped Margaret Ann Conlon to join its nationally recognized stone carving ream. Quarra supplies and fabricates natural stone for signature architectural projects and landmark building restorations throughout North America.

In her capacity as a stone carver for Quarra, Conlon will work on select carving teams assigned to premier historic restoration projects now underway at Quarra such as the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, Pa., and the New York State Capitol in Albany, N.Y.

Conlon was a scholarship student at the American College of Building Arts in Charleston, S.C., and was the first female to earn a bachelor’s degree in architectural stone carving at the school.

Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago announced that Marc Campbell has joined the firm to lead its Strategic Sourcing Solutions practice.

As senior vice president, Campbell will focus on enhancing the firm’s strategic supplier relationships across its national portfolio as well as implementing the growth plans of the Strategic Sourcing platform.

Campbell joins Jones Lang LaSalle from Chiquita Brands International, where he served as global director for procurement for four years, delivering best practices in leading supplier development programs, risk management and business process outsourcing and contract manufacturing.

Campbell has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Florida A&M University.

HR Green, a multi-discipline design firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, recently announced the appointment of Eliot Protsch to the company’s board of directors.

Protsch, recently retired from Alliant Energy after 31 years of service, brings key expertise in energy industry finance and operations to his position on the board. Protsch joins Robert Chiusano as one of two independent shareholding directors of HR Green.

At Alliant Energy, Protsch served in various financial roles, including assistant treasurer at Wisconsin Power and Light Co., between 1978 and 1985.

From 1985 through the merger that formed Alliant Energy in 1998, Protsch held various operational positions, ultimately serving as senior vice president - customer operations, engineering and sales.

Upon closing the merger in 1998, Protsch was named president - Interstate Power and Light Company, and executive vice president - Energy Delivery of Alliant Energy.

In 2003, Protsch was named senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of Alliant Energy, a post he held through early 2009 when he became chief operating officer.

Corey Williams has joined WFL of St. Louis as vice president. Williams is responsible for sales and marketing.

Williams has 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as broker/owner at The Pinnacle Solutions Group in St. Louis. He has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University. He is president of board for The Nursery Foundation of St. Louis and serves on the board of the St. Louis Officials Association.

BHDP Architecture recently announced the addition of six new employees, five in the Cincinnati office and one in Columbus.

The following individuals have joined the staff in Cincinnati: Lisa Estep, interior designer; Ryan Kotila, intern; Scott Pugh, senior project architect; Joe Schmidt, intern; and Greg Smith, environmental graphic designer.

Matt Burton has been hired as project architect in the Columbus office.

Lee Zellmer has joined Clark Dietz’ Transportation Group in Kenosha, Wis. Zellmer most recently worked for the Milwaukee County Department of Transportation and brings more than 30 years of experience in planning, design and construction of highway projects, as well as traffic analysis and permitting. Zellmer will be responsible for planning and design of transportation improvements in Southeast Wisconsin.
