As a licensed architect and LEED Fellow, Susan leads Pepper Construction's High Performance and Sustainable Construction Group. Her work enables her to put design into action. She provides decision-making tools to determine investment paybacks and reduce operating costs, leads projects to their sustainability goals, assists clients with their corporate environmental compliance during construction and puts existing buildings on a path to sustainability. Her top accomplishments include Pepper's Net Zero Jobsite Trailer, developing Pepper's Building Performance Tool and implementing carbon drawdown strategies into all projects. Susan has served on the USGBC Illinois Board of Directors and the AGC Environmental Steering Committee.
