Madisyn Kellough is an associate in the Atlanta office of Smith Currie. Madisyn concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law, litigation, and government contracts. Her practice includes the representation of general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, material suppliers, design professionals, sureties, and owners.
Madisyn attended law school at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she won a CALI award in a seminar called “Doing Justice.” The course focused on the process judges go through in deciding difficult cases and was taught by the Honorable Judge Mize, a former D.C. Superior Court Judge and author of “Tough Cases.” The insight gained enhances her ability to advocate for her clients in court and in ADR proceedings.
Madisyn also participated in a three-person team that won the Georgetown University Law Center Iron Tech Competition, where teams competed to create website applications that provided greater access to justice. Madisyn’s team worked with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (“TLRA”) to build an application for migrant farm workers in remote areas. Her team went on to be one of six global finalists in the worldwide competition.
