John-James (JJ) Tesoriero is a Project Manager at Gilbane Building Company and Chair of Gilbane’s LGBTQ+ Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) in New York. Over his 5-year career at Gilbane, he has worked on various new construction projects, including a 6-story athletic facility, 3-acre community center, brownfield cleanup, new medical office building, and outpatient care facility. In addition to leading Gilbane’s Pride ERG for 4 years, he advocates for greater LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusion in the AEC industry as a committee chair for Build Out Alliance – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in New York and California.
