Hunter Cole is Innovation and Operational Technology Manager at Brasfield & Gorrie, where he helps lead reality capture and emerging technology initiatives. Cole is a 2011 mechanical engineering graduate of Mississippi State University. Since joining Brasfield & Gorrie in 2015, he has applied his experience working in design and development for an automaker to Virtual Design + Construction. He has worked to establish strategic technology partnerships with industry leaders including DroneDeploy, Samsung, and Boston Dynamics. Through Cole’s efforts, in 2015 Brasfield & Gorrie was one of Alabama’s first organizations to receive Federal Aviation Administration exemption to operate drones commercially.
