Benjamin Markham is Director of Architectural Acoustics at Acentech in Cambridge, MA. Ben advises architects on room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise control. He has consulted on the acoustical design of performing arts facilities, worship spaces, classroom and lecture halls, corporate offices, condominiums, and many other spaces. He has an avid interest in computerized acoustic models and simulation technology. Ben is a Lecturer in the architecture schools at Harvard, MIT, and Cornell. He holds a B.S.E. from Princeton University and an M.S. in architectural acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was a 2019 ENR Top 20 under 40 awardee.
