Angelica Rivera who proudly holds the Presidency at Colmex Construction, LLC has been recognized for her achievements by many different organizations - not only for her visionary leadership in the competitive construction industry in New Orleans, but also for her entrepreneurial spirit that has been an integral force towards the organizational growth at Colmex. Over the past 13 Years, Angelica has received many nominations and awards including: City Business 2019 & 2020 Excellence in Construction award, she was selected as one of our “heroes’ locales” by Telemundo 42 and Gulf Cost Bank. Under her guidance, Colmex was selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration Louisiana District for the 2019 Entrepreneurial Success Award of the Year, in 2018, Colmex was ranked 71 nationwide in Inner City 100 and one the fastest-growing companies in Louisiana by Inc. 5000. In 2020 Colmex was nominated as 1 of the top City Business Best Places to Work in Louisiana.
