Over more than two decades, Bonny Nyaga has excelled in multiple divisions at Caltrans, advocating for innovation and building partnerships. Roles included office chief of transportation asset management and district division chief. In 2023, he was appointed to the director’s office as a construction DBE-SBE manager—notably in charge of the Caltrans Construction Mentor Protégé Program, promoting small and disadvantaged businesses.
