ENR Midwest is getting ready to publish the 2023 Top Designs Firm rankings

The Midwest’s top 105 firms posted a new regional revenue record, a total of $6.14 billion, in 2019. That's well ahead of the $5.78 billion a similar top firms group (100 firms) posted from 2018 revenue.

As public spending ramps up, design firms in the Midwest will continue to reap increased work. But as recoveries go, this one is a long, old row to hoe.

Long the laggard in the nation's economic recovery, the Midwest at long last has gained sufficient momentum to significantly buoy regional design and construction activity.
