Sofia Berger is a Senior Vice President and the National Business Line Leader for Transportation at WSP. In this role she oversees the strategic direction, business development performance, client management and knowledge management of the U.S. transportation market, including highways, bridges, transit and rail, tunnels and aviation, as well as ports and marine. Previously, Sofia served as Deputy National Business Line Leader in the Advisory group with a range of responsibilities from strategic planning, operational management and complex project management across all types of infrastructure. Sofia was Deputy Business Development Leader for U.S. Transportation as well as Managing Director for the Latin American and the Caribbean Division at Louis Berger, an international consulting engineering organization, which was acquired by WSP in 2018. She has 20 years of infrastructure experience spanning project management of construction projects in the field and management consulting for private sector clients and governmental transportation agencies around the world. Sofia holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and economics-operations research from Columbia University.
