David Wade serves as chief of staff for the Office of Transformation and Opportunity within the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office where he focuses on fostering economic development, state competitiveness, permit reform and cross-agency coordination. Previously, he spent 6 years as a senior aide to then-Attorney General Josh Shapiro, serving as chief of staff and senior advisor.
David has spent nearly two decades at the nexus of policy and politics, working on national, state and local political campaigns, along with government service on Capitol Hill and at the White House before returning home to Pennsylvania. David graduated from Northwestern University and lives with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Ziya, in Philadelphia.
