Join us for a discussion among four leaders of workforce development programs across the United States, each of which are dedicated to creating opportunities for women in construction and related trades.
Through their engagement in opportunities with NEW, WIST, ANEW and the Ironworkers International Apprenticeship and Training Program, among others, women are entering the construction trades in numbers never before seen in the industry. Women now enter skilled trades apprenticeships – ready for work, without feeling intimidated and with confidence and capability that shines through every project.
Attendees will not only be inspired by a number of success stories but will also learn how these programs started and how to launch similar efforts in their area.
