Valerie Jimenez is the founder and CEO of Bold Entity, a Dallas-based, full-service branding and digital marketing agency committed to helping small to midsize companies – especially those in the chronically underserved business-to-business (B2B) sector – expand their business and increase revenue. Since its inception in 2010, Bold Entity has focused on leveling the playing field for small businesses by creating efficient marketing tools and processes that allow them to approach marketing in the same way as a Fortune 100 firm would – with strategic focus, insight-driven tactics, and quantifiable results. Jimenez’s unique approach to marketing led her to create a proprietary process to identify what makes a business exceptional, then deploy that information to craft impactful stories which drive growth. This strategy has yielded a 300% ROI for her clients, primarily B2B firms with highly niche audiences.
Jimenez is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program and is also part of 10KSB Voices, an initiative that helps small business owners advocate for policy changes that will help their businesses, employees, and communities. In 2021, she was named a “40 Under 40” by the Dallas Business Journal for her outstanding achievements in advancing the small business community. In 2022, the Small Business Administration (SBA) recognized Jimenez as the Minority Business Champion of the Year for her dedication to helping smaller ventures grow by providing them with strategic marketing tools. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Dallas, Jimenez cut her teeth in the fashion merchandising, luxury goods, and the marketing agency space. After that, Jimenez spent several years managing the creative team that was tasked with global communication at one of the world’s largest plastics manufacturers. This gave Jimenez a deep belief that any firm can utilize “consumer” marketing techniques to expand their businesses, and inspired her to start a company that would help companies “be bold” in their external communication.
