Granite
Tina grew up between the farming and ranching communities of North Dakota and the gold mines of Nevada. Her mother and stepfather moved to Nevada when she was 8. Tina spent her high school years in the Nevada High School Rodeo Association and then went on to college for both her BS and MA at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has built a career through various resource industries over the years; starting off in environmental consulting, working for the Nevada Department of Agriculture and then moving on to mining and construction. Tina sits on numerous resource-related committees and commissions, such as the Nevada State Environmental Commission, and is a steering committee member for both the Associated General Contractors National Environmental Steering Committee, and the National Sand Stone and Gravel Association’s National Environmental Committee. She is a board alternate for her company for the Nevada Mining Association, founder of the Nevada AGC’s Environmental Committee, and the Women in Construction Committee; and is a Granite PAC Board member involved in all level of political and legislative activities. In her free time, Tina travels, still loves to rodeo and ride her horses, and hikes with her friends and dogs.
