Sonia Lopez is co-director of DPR Construction's Bay Area region and is responsible for estimating excellence and adding value at every stage in the preconstruction lifecycle. Sonia brings more than 25 years of construction and built environment experience to DPR Construction. She specializes in DPR's core markets of ground up construction, commercial, life science, healthcare, and mission critical buildings. DPR specializes in large commercial with mostly alternative project delivery methods. Sonia has also worked for Apple during their initial retail store rollout and was a consulting construction manager for a landmark museum in San Francisco. She was also director of construction for a women's clothing concept with the company Gymboree. Her years of multi-disciplinary technical experience on both the GC and owner's sides brings great perspective to her leadership style. Sonia started her career at DPR with her construction management degree, minor in business administration, from Cal State University, Fresno.
